CONVERTING HOURS TO DAYSDo you think you are a time expert? Let's put your skills to the test with this conversion activity. We are going to give you some crazy number of hours and you need to turn it into a day value that is easier to understand. You're going to have to use division and remainders for some of these answers. Even though these are crazy numbers, you need to remember that it's easier for people to understand an idea like a "month" as opposed to "43,200 minutes." It's good practice.Facts for this Activity: 30 Days in a Month 24 Hours in a Day 60 Minutes in an Hour Good luck and have fun. DIRECTIONSThis is another NumberNut three-choice quiz. Once you start the activity you will see a problem. To the right side or below that problem are three possible answers. It's your job to figure out the correct answer and click the answer. The next screen will show you the correct answer. Some of these quizzes will show you how to get the right answer. You will get a happy or sad face for every question you finish. Once you finish ten (10) questions, the quiz will be over. Take the quiz again because all of the questions are random. Chances are, you'll get a new quiz every time. It's good practice to learn these basic arithmetic operations. |
