RECOGNIZING DAYTIME AND NIGHTTIME

You know that there are hours of the day that you have light and dark. There are times of the day that you would expect daylight and the night. This activity challenges you to think about the time and guess what the sky will look like. If we say 2PM, you need to think about the time 2 o'clock in the afternoon. What would the sky look like? The correct answer would be daytime.

We know that the times of light and dark change throughout the year. It's all because of the tilt of the Earth. We set up a general day for this quiz. You can refer to these times if you get stuck.
12:00 a.m. - 5:30 a.m. - Nighttime
5:30 a.m. - 6:30 a.m. - Sunrise
6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Daytime
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Sunset
7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. - Nighttime

Good luck and have fun.

DIRECTIONS

This is one of the NumberNut four-bar activities. Your question will be displayed at the top of the screen. Under that question, you will see four (4) possible answers. Just click on the bar with the correct answer. The next screen will show you the correct answer.

You get a happy face for every correct answer and a sad face for every wrong answer. The quiz is over after ten (10) questions. Take the quiz again and again because all of the questions are random. Chances are, you'll get a new quiz every time. It's good practice to learn these basic arithmetic operations.
